Woodsworth College Students' Association Website

If you've been anywhere around me for the past month or so, you'd know that I've been developing http://mywcsa.ca for the past couple of weeks. It's outer design may need a little more tweaking, but it looks good from the feedback I've gotten from students.

Bow Before me

For I am root.

Provider Switch

So recently, I've become a university student and since I needed help with covering the costs I got help from a fellow net-admin.

All in all, we're not with Softlayer anymore. We're with 10tb.com now.

All the best,
Nima

Uptime is going up!

It's been 120 days since the last time the server was restarted

But the server might have a memory leak somewhere which we're trying to figure out... so it might go down later this month for a couple of days for an offline memory dump.

All the best,
Nima

CentOS

Here's a news post that had to be pasted here a long time ago.
Nearly, two months ago I switched my server's OS to CentOS in favor of supporting a new community called MForMature (link can be found in the sub-navigation list on the top of the page)

Have a great day and happy new year.

Christmas

Santa killsIt's near Christmas and I'm going through another emotional crisis, if you read my blog lately you'd know that there's been a massive sense of anger and despair in my posts, but I'm a lot better now. Here's a graphical interchange formatted image (.GIF) for some humour, it's always fun to twist "Santa"'s courtesy.

How To: Building a VPS on FreeBSD

Welcome to my guide.
I spent a noticeable amount of time researching on how to make a VPS (Virtual Private Server) on my FreeBSD machine, and after 3 hours of endless reading I finally got into doing it and it took me 30 minutes!

Here's what you need to do, if you want to make a VPS on your FreeBSD system.

*BSD

This guide page includes anything that I've experienced throughout my experiments with Macs and my FreeBSD based server.

Guides

I will be posting guides on building/customizing anything from FreeBSD kernel details to building a simple Drupal page.

This is the book outline, a summery page if you will.

New Theme Design

I've been working on the design of the site a lot lately,
and so far the only thing that bothers me is the menu being at the top of the title so awkwardly.

If you have any ideas what so ever,
I'd love to hear some.
